This Great Blue heron has been consistently hanging out at this farm about 1/2 mile away from the wildlife ponds of three crabs road. There is no water here..we can’t figure it out…

it is a Great Blue Heron. They sometimes hunt in fields for mice or voles. I sometimes see 5 or 6 of them hunting a field along Schmuck road. They may also find snakes or frogs in fields in the right season.
THANKS Gary! I had no idea that ate things other than fish.. There were definitely lots of voles to be had.
Oh, yes, their appetite is varied.
