About Colleen

I love life. I was lucky to semi-retire at 55 and move to Sequim. I’ve learned from too many family and friends, that you don’t know how much QUALITY time you have on this earth. So go LIVE NOW!

Living at the foot of the Olympics is amazing, it supports all of my hobbies.

#1 Photography of course! Thousands of people come to the Olympics every year from ALL over the world. I get to live here. Mountains, streams, wildlife galore, are all withing minutes of my house. Nirvana.

#2 Gardening. The climate supports year round gardening…I’m channeling my inner Lillian (my grandma) and growing most that I eat–being a vegetarian.

#3 Hiking/biking/paddling. I start these activities every day right from my front door.

#4 Driftwood scultping. I gather wood from the beaches and forests and scrape, sand, sand, sand, and then sand some more…. then they become beautiufl works of art. See the Olympic Driftwood Sculptors site to see what we do. www.olympicdriftwoodsculptors.org

#5 Teaching aerobics. I work at the YMCA teaching water aerobics, Zumba, and various fitness classes…Those that know me, know that music speaks to me, and it’s time to MOVE!

I hope you enjoy my photography work….I’m so excited to share my world with you!
