I saw this heron come out of the grass to hunt, and all of a sudden fish were jumping everywhere. It was a long way away even for my 600mm lens but I did manage to capture two fish jumping.
What was that?

The heron must be inwardly sighing.
That reminds me of sitting beside a pond and telling my husband, look a fish jumped. And of course he missed it. This went on time and time again. Maybe the heron is like him.
Definitely a boy heron!
