This belted kingfisher was nice enough to land on the closest sailboat to the sidewalk at the John Wayne Marina. I only had my lil panasoic point and shoot.

Windswept little fellow!
What a beauty. We have lots of little birds in our garden at the moment but my ‘bird lens’ has broken and is irreparable so I guess they will have to go unphotographed.
