We took the Edmonds ferry to get to Seattle on Monday and were treated to a clear view of Mt. Rainier. We don’t see Rainier from Sequim. It’s located to the east of Seattle. You can see taller Seattle structures at the left side of the shot, including the famous Space Needle that looks like a tiny flying saucer on a pole.
Looked at the link Kay and even though the Space Needle is pretty fabulous, Mt Rainier in the background steals the show 💙
It is a magnificent mountain.

Wow this a fabulous shot. I have been to Seattle a couple of times and I think went up the Space Needle … but don’t remember that mountain! Perhaps it was hiding. I do remember a huge second hand bookshop in Seattle like nothing I had ever seen here. It enchanted me.
