These eagles were flying and swooping together. It wasn’t until I got this shot on my screen that I could see they are both immature. The one on the right has the mottled browns characteristic of a first year eagle. The one on the left has some patches of white that are seen on a third or fourth year.
I love to watch eagles soaring.
