The beach near the old Three Crabs Restaurant has gradually transformed as it has returned to a more natural state. A long line of piers has been removed and nearby wetlands have more tidal flows. The New Dungeness Light Station is shown in the distance here.
Nature has a way of taking back it’s own space if left alone, looks like that’s what is happening here Kay ✨

I like this view of the beach, it looks so natural. You wouldn’t know there were piers there before by looking at this photo.
