Frostbite

We’ve been having very clear — and very cold — days. It’s been well below freezing at night. But there’s no snow and that’s a good thing. The clouds you see here are the blankets that usually keep things warmer. They’re coming back and rain’s in the forecasts. That means defrosted toes and noses. That’s a good thing, too.

  1. Our nights are cool but not as cold as yours. It was 44F with some wind gusts and heavy rain. We always hear the rain it when it hits the windows horizontally. What a nice view you have and the cloud cover adds its beauty and warmth.

  2. That is gorgeous, Kay! We are well blow freezing at night and even are daytime temperatures have been colder than normal for this time of year.
