Sequim savannah

Zebra

We stopped near the Olympic Game Farm the other day, overlooking an area that isn’t usually populated with the wide variety of animals that call this place home. First we saw a group of horned, long-haired cattle-ish critters (that aren’t named on their website). Then along came llamas, purposefully heading to a grassy corner of the enclosure. Finally, along came two zebras. Not your typical backyard animals.

  1. You certainly do not have to travel far to enjoy exotic animals. Unless it is the camera angle, this little creature looks young. Nice shot!

  2. Surprise, surprise! Zebras are fun animals. We saw some on a horse farm a few years back and I about drove into the ditch. No expecting that! But after a couple of months they disappeared. Never did learn what that was all about.

Re Birdman: A shock to all of us. I was hoping to see him this winter here in Florida. Another instance to live in the “now” and I’m working on that, but it’s hard.

Have a great day! Have fun!

  3. They are a remarkable animal!

I saw the news about Birdman first at Bob Crowe’s St. Louis Daily Photo page yesterday morning, in regards to your question at my post from yesterday.
