A bush covered with berries has been flirting with my camera for a few weeks now. But I can’t seem to get it to give it up the way I see it. Like one of those itches you can’t quite scratch.
The berries are dense and clustered. I’m surprised birds haven’t discovered it.
An unusual looking bush with brilliantly hued berries! We have a crabapple tree that retains its berries all winter long; the birds ignore it ’til spring and then it is stripped bear. Seems odd to me.
It’s buried in berries. Maybe the birds leave them alone because they’re too bitter?
I guess, after a long winter, the birds are in the mood for a little ‘wine’ … ah, berries.
“They” say that when there are lots of berries on the bushes it will be a harsh winter and the birds will need them to survive – but I’ve been watching that saying over the last few years and even though the bushes are loaded with berries our winters have been very mild here – but I still keep watching to see if it is true. Great photos.
The berries certainly do stand out!
WOW!
They berries look good to me.
