You were entirely too close for my comfort when you were photographing the problem. Made me dizzy. Hope they can fix it.
Really scary! It reminds me of that hike we took at Loeb! It dawned on me how fast a chunk could break off!

That happened fast! We’d noticed some land sliding here a few weeks ago. It was really undercut today when we came to the changed fencing . . .some of that cracking went right under where they pulled out the old post & wire. The chunk of land in your second photo can go at any time. Randy, this area has wonderful views of Port Angeles and across the Strait to Victoria, B.C.
That is not good. I hope there is room enough to re-route the trail.
