Last day of the Festival…so much to see, so little time

And how do you decided what quilt to vote for?  Ah, a difficult task..but you will see those who attend with their ballot in hand taking the task very serious.    I worked the show…and will again today.  It was wonderful to see old friends and talk with new ones…several who told us they had come for the lavender and “found” us.  They weren’t disappointed.  If you are local, I hope to run in to you today at the show.  The raffle for the quilt will take place at 4:00 p.m.  I wonder if this time will be my lucky year?

A note on the second thumbnail…this year’s challenge was “Floral Fantasy”.  The note accompanying the photo states, “At the time of the catnip harvest, the pussy willow gets touchy.”  Don’t miss the dogwood flowers on this quilt.

  1. Zounds! Those are beautiful. I’ve always been in awe of people who could put together beautiful quilts like these.
