Thanks for the introduction yesterday Norma and hello to everyone 🙂 I really enjoy Norma’s site and I’m also lucky enough to be her neighbor and friend. For my first picture I thought the Dungeness Recreation Area would be perfect because that’s what brought my husband and I to Sequim. We’d traveled from Oregon for years to camp there and had such a hard time going home that finally we just made Sequim our home. This is the road to the Recreation area. There is a campground, all kinds of trails to walk on, birdwatching in the refuge, and the longest natural sand spit in the United States.

Shannon, I can see why you wanted to live there. its a beautiful spot and those mountains are awesome.
A lovely shot with the muted reds, the one lone green cedar in the middle, the white mountains, and the nice area of bright green in the corner. Yes this is a lovely spot to live and we feel we are on vacation year round here! Hello Shannon!
