Wildlife Wednesday-Alaska

This female was keeping a careful watch for the big male Boars who were hunting nearby.

Wildlife Wednesday-Crescent Lake

This big boy was running straight at me just about 60 ft or so away. Fortunately, he was focused on the fish you can see in the water in front of him.

Wildlife Wednesday-Shakey Shakey

This was one of the “diver” bears. There was one family lineage that actually dive down, swim under water, and catch fish that way. Each time he finally came after 30 seconds or so, if he didn’t have a fish, he’d shake his head like a dog.

Faraway Friday-Alaska

Wildlife Wednesday–So Cute

Ok I have a real thing for owls and SEA OTTERS. Can they be any cuter?

I love the big bubbles that appeared every time he popped up. It always looked like he was taking a bubble bath as he scrubbed his fur.

Taken in Homer Alaska.

One of these seals is not like the other…

This sand bar was FILLED with seals. All on shore were white/brown but one lil juvenile in the water was grey with black spots.
