Happy New Year’s Eve

Views of Sequim, the Olympic Peninsula. . .and beyond
I like playing with zoom on photos. This one had an unexpected cool framing of the car in the background.
This kind bear went to end of this spit so he could be included in this beautiful landscape on Crescent Lake Alaska.
It was a CRAZY weather day. EVERYTHING except Mt Baker was in BLACK rain clouds. The mountain just glowed. I was fortunate to be at a friends house at diamond point. You can see the cliffs of Whidbey island below that were also lit up.
Blue footed Boobie and chick. Their “nest” cracks me up. It’s a 3″ divot in the dirt. At least this nest was on level ground. We saw many nests on a slope where when the moved the egg it could easily roll down the hill….
The last of my Santa art composites…
When I saw this homeless man portrait he immediately reminded me of Santa…but a worn down version. I kept the photo for a long time thinking I should do something with it. So I put a hat on him, put him behind this vintage window that also had seen better days…added a little snow….
Another composite with some painterly effects and rain added.
I truly appreciate all of you hanging out with me every day and sharing my journeys throughout the world. I am a very lucky girl in soooo many ways. I have GREAT FRIENDS and family and a husband who encouraged me to follow my heart and pursue my crazy ideas.
