This was one of the most beautiful gardens I have seen in the WORLD. It was huge. We spent the better part of two days exploring, and I know we missed parts.

This lil kit was about 1 week old. You could hold him easily in two cupped hands he was so small (no I didn’t do it but it was tempting!). He was hiding in a culvert and would run into a 6″ drain pipe anytime a car came or a person got near. She was entertaining herself by chewing on the grass…
This beautiful bird was very active catching bugs and then returning to this branch to eat or feed his mate.
This mom (broken ear–named after her split ear) had 4 appoximately 3-4 wk old kits. The black ones are still genetically considered red foxes and have the tell tail white tipped tail.
This is my Kitty–all Steampunked up. Fortunately she did not have to endure being dressed up. It is 37 different layers in Photoshop! The original is below.
Milford Sound-New Zealand is amazing ….even if you can only see the bottom 300ft! It was so stormy and foggy that this was all we could see, even though Mitre Peak soars to 5,551 ft. But because of the storm, almost every wall had a spectacular waterfall.
I love the logs at the bottom of this falls. Not too often that you see a log that curved. The walk to this falls is only about a 1/4 mile.
