West Seattle beach
My biking group rode from the ferry in Bainbridge around west Seattle–this was a gorgeous view from our trail.
Dungeness Spit
You have to watch out for incoming tides if you hike the 5 miles to the light house…especially if you want to get back!
Gnome land
Next to the Olympic Discovery Trail is this little gnome garden–ever changing.
How did that get here?
This car is abandoned DEEP in the forest in Miller’s point. There are seriously NO roads in here–very small trails only.
It does look better with snow on it…
Railroad Bridge
The Railroad Bridge gets some great decorations for winter.
It’s part of the Olympic Discovery Trail and is just a mile from Washington “main” street downtown.
I’m likin’ the lichen!
On an hike around Gibbs Lake the raindrops on the lichen kept catching my attention. This photo really doesn’t do it justice. Nature is always amazing. So go out and Forest Bath…it will do your soul good.
