Would you believe we don’t have taxi’s in Sequim? It is true. There are buses, para-transit, a private transportation bus system, but the three taxi’s are gone. However, when I saw 5 kids pile out of this SUV at a soccer practice, I decided this was definately a soccer mom’s taxi. Check out her green bumper sticker and the basketball stickers….and then check out the other sites around the world for more “taxi” pictures.

The Last of Indian Summer
I’ve posted two pictures today. I loved the color of this house, the sunflowers, and the beautiful crisp sky. We are enjoying the last of an Indian Summer here on the Olympic Peninsula. A change in weather is forcast for next week. September and October are my two favorite months here in the Northwest. Note the wood carving in the lower left corner. You will see more of these in the next week.
The Last of the Sunflowers
In near by Port Angeles I spotted these sunflowers. Although past their prime, I was struck by their height and beautiful color.
Visit Wildlife Photo Gallery
Someday I want to be able to take photographs like Wildlight Photo Gallery artist Zach Holmes.
Mural 1
Sequim, like many small towns in the Northwest, often decorates the outside of building with murals that depict the area. This one is located on the Heather Creek building, next to Hurricane Coffee Company
The Changing Foliage
We don’t have the beautiful colors I’ve observed in the Northeast, but occasinally you will catch a change in color that catches your eye.
Fall, Ferns, Light
I was waiting for a friend to arrive and looking for something to photograph. The light on these ferns caught my eye.
