A note from Kay

Though I try to remain upbeat and positive on this blog, unfortunately life sometimes has other plans. For the past six months I’ve been engaged in an intense tango with a very rare form of lymphoma. It has robbed me of both energy and independence, making typical daily activities impossible.

No one can predict what the future holds for me. Because of this, I hope to find a local willing to take on this blog and continue posting to Sequim Daily Photo, even if it’s not on a strictly daily basis. Moderate comfort with digital media is helpful though the website is pretty user friendly. If you or someone you know might be interested, please leave a comment and I’ll respond. Leave your comment in the “About Kay” section of this blog. I’ll do what I can to help the next blogger get up and running.

I’m sad that it’s come to this, sad at the thought of letting go after these nine years. It’s truly been a pleasure.

All the best in good health and happiness to you in 2021.

Love, Kay

  1. No … I really cannot accept that you will not write on this blog anymore! No need to publish something every day … once a week or once a month is also good, me live Kay! 🤗
I know how bad the “tango” with the lymphoma can be! My husband had Non Hodgkin … I was so shocked that I got diabetes 2. Was so afraid he would die … so don’t scare me and get better! Please!
May the New Year bless you with health and happiness. Sending you sunshine 😘 to brighten your day. Give it your best all the way. You can overcome this heinous disease!
A very big hug for jou my friend!

  5. Kay,
so sorry to hear about your lymphoma. Maintaining a positive attitude through it all is a big part of the equation. It’s not easy, in fact is is darn hard on some days, but it does help! I’ve been through cancer twice, and my wife had her own bout in between my two. Wake up every day and resolve to put your feet on the floor and confront the day with a smile on your face.
    You are in our thoughts.

  6. I am so sorry to read this and send my good wishes, you are in my thoughts and prayers.
