We are here because they lived. I’m so grateful for my parents. Great Depression; polio epidemic, WWII! And they raised us. They had terrible memories of some bad years but as a group, believed in focusing on the bright side.
A strange one for this year under the circumstances.
We commemorated with you yesterday, King Willem-Alexander has laid a wreath at Margraten military cemetery, where many American soldiers are buried!

Those are the real heroes!
Lest we forget. We have our Remembrance Day in November.
