A revegetation project is underway on a field north of Carrie Blake Park. Volunteers planted tiny saplings a few years ago and they’re being carefully protected from browsing animals. On a grey day the field has a slightly ghostly appearance.

Hallelujah thyself! You’re funny. Yes, the is ghostly, but a great idea. The authorities planted pine saplings out on the Cross Florida Greenway about 8 years ago and now they have quite large – one huge pine forest.
