Students at Sequim High School make these flower baskets every year and they’re hung along our downtown Washington Street. They’re pretty even on a gloomy day and I hate to see them come down at the end of summer.

The style of the baskets and the colours are very attractive and cheerful. Kudos to the students who have good eyes and appreciation for natural beauty.
That is a wonderful project. I’ve seen similar baskets hanging on street corners here and always feel the same way when they’re taken down because of a change of season …
