We’ve begun to see hummingbirds again. My bird book says they’re here year round. Maybe I’m in hibernation but I generally don’t see them in winter out in the wild.
I think this may be a female Anna’s hummingbird.

A pretty little one. They can be fierce when they want to be.
We don’t see them much in the winter either – but are wonderful when they do come around. Great photo.

Those little guys are hard to catch being still enough to photograph.
