I love photos. I love taking them and I love looking at them. But sometimes they fall short. Sometimes there’s a mood, a feeling of place that can only be captured by being there. And you can’t record a scent.
I wish I could have caught the scent as I took this picture. It was heaven. Pure heaven.

🙂 yes…. i was so disappointed we were in your region during the wrong season ( at least to see this!). we actually went out today to get a lavender plant for the balcony. but… its monday and the netherlands… some shops are just closed the entire day on mondays! (and most others wont open until 12 or 1… grrr)
