Theme Day: My street

Today is the first of the month, theme day for City Daily Photo. This month’s theme is “my street” and this is a view of a stretch of a street in my neighborhood. You may not make them out; there are cattle off in the distance to the right. On a typical night it’s quiet enough to hear waves crash on the Dungeness Spit. And, like many people in Sequim, we hear coyotes yipping and baying, see eagles wheeling in the skies, and love, love, love it here.

  1. Gee, I can’t imagine why you love it there. I mean all you have is a beautiful view, beautiful street, cows mooing, coyotes yipping, eagles wheeling, and probably Santa arrives just around the corner!

    Gorgeeeous!

  2. With those Douglas firs it could be the Highlands. I know there are several Inverness’s in the USA – the only one I’ve seen anything of is the one in Illinous.

  3. A glorious interpretation of the theme. I live in the city, so I don’t get to hear cows (or quiet) all that often. But I can now, with this photo!

  4. Your street is very different from mine. It must be wonderful having “nature” at your foot.
