A new restaurant, Sequim Seafood and Smokehouse, is readying for business. It’s on West Washington, where Arby’s used to be, just west of the RiteAide.
New signs went up last Wednesday and I was told that they should open for business sometime this week.

I’ll miss the opening of the Black Bear Cafe – BUT – sounds like I’ll be here for the opening of Seafood and Smokehouse in Sequim.
I haven’t seen any advertising yet for this spot. Some places do a “soft opening” to work out the kinks and get running smoothly before they strike up the band. I’m eager to see what’s on the menu.
It looks really nice, I bet the food will be good.
Hoping that there’s something for a non-fish lover?
Failure rates on new restaurants are daunting, so I wish them luck. Wish we had a decent seafood eatery here!

I’d guess it will be a more fun place than Arby’s, and will have more success if the food is good and the service is better.
