We finally got to check out the Lower Dungeness Unit on a non-hunting day. It is mostly just field with ponds and the trail is still pretty soggy. The dogs really enjoyed it and came home a mess and needing a bath.

Very fine photos! I like the way you composed them…those houses on stilts off in the distance are rather mysterious looking. I suppose they are where hunters stay – and I’m assuming the hunting involves ducks and maybe pheasants?
