Sequim Elk in the Snow

This was yesterday afternoon.  When I first spotted the elk, it had just started snowing, pretty heavy (the first picture).  Within 5 minutes, it was coming down so hard you could barely see anything (pictures 2&3).  I took a quick video clip too, but it’s pretty much just white. 

We woke this morning to the sound of snow plows at 7:00.  Clallam County rocks for that!

  1. Hi Shannon! Love your elk shots here! They probably enjoy this kind of weather? I heard a rumble a bit ago thinking maybe finally someone will plow us out…..it was a propane truck! We have a very light snow coming down right now.
