This was by far the smallest of the litter. It didn’t jump and play like the rest but usually hid in the grass and played by itself.

The black kit was the most assertive of the lot. As soon as mom came back with a mole, he took it from her mouth and took off running. You can see his siblings running in (just a little too late)

Learning to pounce

This lil guy was very adventuresome and always looking for trouble. He found a moss ball and was tossing it all around and pouncing on it.

This first time mom was on high alert. Her kittens were not cooperating…they were wandering all over. It was like herding cats!

Pretty Girl

It is so difficult to photograph animals in the grass. I love the look of them naturally hiding in the grass and bushes but it’s hard to maintain focus on the animal behind.
