The Happy Family
It’s a rare occasion when I capture both dad (Ricky) and mom (Lucy) in the nest on Marine Drive, but this particular day, I was truly fortunate in that they not only appeared together, but with one of their offspring (Little Ricky). And given that, it was my first pick for a Father’s Day photo.
So to all you Dads out there, a BELATED HAPPY FATHER’S DAY! I hope you spent it with your families while doing what you love.
Interestingly enough, I captured this photo May 14, 2023, and since this year’s brood is much larger and closer to fledging than this little guy, it indicates to me that the family is way ahead of schedule this year, or as I’ve suspected, we may have a new couple occupying the nest – the mystery continues…
