This shot was taken with my cell phone, hanging out my car door as the Bainbridge island ferry was approaching the Seattle dock. You can see the Smith Tower, which used to be the tallest building in Seattle, in the glorious sunrise.
Views of Sequim, the Olympic Peninsula. . .and beyond

It was fun swimming with the sea turtles and trying to capture an above AND below water photo. This was as close as I got!
My eagle pair are back and nest building. This was on a branch right near my window. He was looking for a tasty fish or duck for lunch.
It was so cool to see the giant Tortoises walking right down the path looking for some good shade. If you haven’t been, you wont be disappointed. Go to the Galapagos while they are still there and open (permits to visit are getting more and more restrictive.)
I love the “mohawk” look of these birds.
Just up the foothills from Sequim are hundreds of acres homesteaded in the late 1800’s and early 1900’s. This is one original cabin still standing.
I am often mesmerized by the fog. I love the way it dances in between trees and buildings. I could watch it for hours.
