We ran into the old style sailing vessels that take passengers to the Arctic. This was next to a large cliff area with hundreds of thousands of nesting birds….as you can see by all the black shapes in the sky.

The Olympic Peninsula Bicycle Alliance holds a bike rodeo every year to teach kids safe biking skills.
They learn to stop safely, avoid objects, learn hand signals and road safety.
Lots of volunteers from biking groups, state park rangers, Sequim Police department were all involved.
We even got “Mad Max” here riding by himself for the first time. His mother started crying…It was a pretty cool day!
The Black-legged Kittiwakes hang out all over the icebergs in the Arctic.
My friends and I have an Art Show this weekend at Studio Bob’s in Port Angeles.
Saturday evening there is a free band and beer and wine available for purchase. Sunday is a little more low key. If you’ve never been to studio Bob’s it is a little easy to miss. It is a single doorway next to sound bike and kayak that leads to stairs gong to the second floor where the studio is.
Also a few of you have asked if I sell my artwork…YES–I do! I will have pieces for sale at the show. But anything you see on my site I can have printed on whatever medium you like and direct shipped to your house. Just message me on the site and I can tell you the price for the piece you want. My sales help me keep the site up and running.
I hope those of you who live on the Peninsula will come support me and I’d love to meet you in person! THANKS to all of you for your support.
Sorry for all the posts suddenly–my site was hijacked and I was attending a loved one in the hospital so I didn’t see the warning notices. When I finally got home a week later I was able to get my support info and get it back up. So thanks for your patience!
You can hear the swans before you see them on their annual migration.
