I saw this when i was shooting birds on Sequim Bay. The water was so pretty. Who needs birds?
At the entrance to Sequim bay-walkable by starting at Port Williams, is a popular spot for shore fishing.
I’ve been really sick this last week AND the weather has been frightful with huge wind and rain storms. So I haven’t been out shooting. When I was looking for photos to post, I found I was drawn to all bright flower photos.
Here is one from Heronswood Garden in Kingston just 40 minutes from Sequim.
At first we all thought these were females because they look pregnant their bellies were so big. But our naturalist guide explained they were males–just fat and happy getting ready for the new snow season.
These mountain peaks just at the south end of Sequim Bay change constantly with the seasons. This is my first shot of the new snow this year.
