Well a bay without an oar..but you get the picture. My husband was crabbing in in Sequim Bay, but the oar lock doesnt work and the oar kept coming out and floating away. Here her rescued it…but his expression tells it all!
Views of Sequim, the Olympic Peninsula. . .and beyond

This gull on my dock had a sea star stuffed halfway down its’ throat. He was working on it for a good 40 minutes when it finally managed to get it all down–whole! I wasn’t sure it would survive this event. But about a half hour later it flew off.
Ok so this might seem like a weird photo for THANKSGIVING…
However, it makes me feel blessed and thankful every time I see it. My parenats gave me the gift of travel from a very young age. They helped me delve into many cultures and taught me not to be just a “surface tourist”.
I have an amazingly supportive husband who travels with me some of the time, but sets me free to explore & photograph things by myself or with others.
I get to travel the world and share it with all of you thru my lens.
I really appreciate all of your support and kind feedback.
My parting words–Get out there and ENJOY EVERY DAY. Discover something new. Whether it’s in you backyard or in the VERY COLD waters of the Arctic!
Live a little…
Who’d have thought a walrus could be so cute? Taken in the Arctic.
I could spend a lifetime photographing at the Chihuly Glass and Gardens in Seattle.
I have lived here 7 1/2 years. This was the view from my driveway yesterday. It NEVER gets old. I still think WOW, I can’t believe I live here where a million visitors a year come to explore the Olympics.
