This is the view of the Olympics straight across from me. It’s April and it is still snowing in the foothills. I usually have vegetable starts that are 4″ tall and I havent even started any this year. The nights are still 28-30 degrees. Come on Spring!
This was taken from my lil panasonic point and shoot on Jamestown Rd. Twice a week I ride with the WOW (women on wheels) group. We almost ALWAYS see Baldy’s, and usually a lot of other raptors.
We all feel incredibly blessed to live in such a beautiful place surrounded by nature. I been here for a full 7 years now as of this week…And I’m telling you it NEVER gets old!
This Baldy swooped down and caught this duck just off the dungeness spit.
