Surrounded by magnificent mountains…

I love watching how the mountains constantly change throughout the year. All you have to do is turn your head.

Wildlife Wednesday–You’d make that face too…

Giraffe in Tanzania

Look carefully at this acacia tree’s thorns! Giraffes eat the leaves around these.

This guy made the funniest face just as I was zooming in. I was as long ways away but I swear he was looking right down my lens.

Watch your step…

I love tidepooling–especially at Salt Creek. At a low tide there are so many sea creatures you REALLY have to watch your step.

You gonna share that?

The Bald Eagles were enjoying their salmon in the skagit river. I noticed most were NOT into sharing!

A thorny situation

This wild rose bush was also shot Far Reaches Farm. The red spikes are SERIOUS thorns!

It was hard to shoot due to the wind and I didn’t want to get whipped. It was near an old green house so my angle for getting a good background was very limited.
