Keeping Watch

I love walking the many beaches right in the Sequim area to see what fauna are around. Usually you can find at least one Bald Eagle.

Thar she blows…

This Anna’s Hummer was hanging on for dear life this weekend. It was really blowing at the end of the bay. I only had a 50mm lens but he let me walk right up to him.

Beware–we have vultures!

There are a LOT of Turkey Vultures on the peninsula. Down at the end of Sequim Bay they were sunning themselves.

Wildlife Wednesday – Breeding season

You see bald eagles everywhere on the peninsula at his time of the year. They are actively hunting to feed their voracious chicks.

If Eagles Talked

I got great video of these two “talking” to each other. Squawking back and forth in their unique Eagle screeches. I was wondering what they were saying.
