This is an iconic place. But like the Grand Canyon it’s even more amazing in person. We were there during a monsoonal 4 day storm. But it broke long enough to get some great shots with crazy skies.
I had to lay on my belly and crawl to the edge so I could show you the edge!

My husband took this shot of me taking a shot of the cows who would NOT let us go on the trail. If you look at the steep pitch of the mountains you can see why we didn’t want to walk around. The only way to the train was forward, so we just had to be patient and make friends with them.

I was so attracted to the shadows of these tree trunks. It was 30 below zero and mystical. The park is closed to all except those with special permits and snow cats. I was fortunate to enter with a Mckay Photo Academy trip.
