Each time our ship would anchor in a new area, our guides would go out in zodiacs to scout the area in search of Polar Bears. If any were seen we could not land.
The male frigate bird inflates his chest balloon to attract females. Then he builds a nest to impress her further. This guy did a nice job. Well built nest tucked into a tree with lots of branches to keep predators at bay.
The big male on the right was very protective of the “toddler sized” howler.

These Salley crabs were everywhere in the Galapagos and they JUMP!
This iguana was spread out to get all the sun he could. I of course had to lay on the ground to get this shot… Are you seeing a trend here?
