Wildlife Wednesday-Flightless Cormorant

These Galapagos adaptors have GORGEOUS blue eyes and tiny little wings that allow them to swim but not fly.

That goes for the Guillemot catching the fish, AND me catching the Guillemot taking off. They dive, poop up out of nowhere then take off again.

It’s so awesome to be able to kayak off my backyard. Have to go in the morning BEFORE the wind picks up!

It’s a little store surrounded by farms. Has a little of everything and is a GREAT place to stop for a lil treat or drink.

There is a black communication board with want ads, jobs, things to give away or sell. Carried over from the times before texting and the internet!

Lots of venders–many art and jewelry tents, food, and of course LAVENDER!

This almost 3 yr old seal is still nursing. Why its mom is still allowing this no one knows.

We know why he wants to…look how nice an plump he is.

Victor’s always has a fun upbeat barn dance each year on Friday and Saturday of the festival.

Please know that you can visit the farm outside of the festival (The week just before and after have lot of lavender and less crowds
