My husband took this shot of me taking a shot of the cows who would NOT let us go on the trail. If you look at the steep pitch of the mountains you can see why we didn’t want to walk around. The only way to the train was forward, so we just had to be patient and make friends with them.
I love the view from Point No Point in Hansville. You can see Mt Baker, Everett, Whidbey Island, and all the boating traffic like this lil tuggy.

There were several shore fisherman, fishing for salmon. I asked him if he caught anything. He said “No but any day fishing is better than sitting around”
That’s a gull diving down trying to get his bait.
This was taken from the Railroad Bridge in Sequim. There were at least three species of Salmon spawning in the river providing hours of enteretainment for onlookers.
This is less than an hours drive from Sequim and has beautful picnic facilities and views of many types of vessels navigating Hood Canal.
