Views of Sequim, the Olympic Peninsula. . .and beyond
All of the farms are locally family owned and worked.
The only problem with getting low in the lavender is the BEES!
Every year on the third Full weekend of July (Friday Saturday Sunday) Sequim holds its’ Lavender Festival. We have a street fair, lavender farm tours (3 requiring admission AND 15 Free admission), barn dances, FREE concerts in the park and lot’s of purple fun. There are also dozens more farms in the arear that aren’t on the OFFICIAL map.
This was taken with the Olympic Mountains in the background, at a newer farm called Olympic Bluffs Lavender Farm and Cidery.
It’s been so windy I don’t know how all the new blossoms are staying on the trees. But they’re gorgeous.
These cuties were at Heronswood Garden
More spring flowers from heronswood Garden in Kingston. Can you tell I’m cold and want spring now?
Wishful thinking….This is from a visit last year to Heronswood garden.
