Faraway Friday-Sydney Royal Botanical Gardens
This was one of the most beautiful gardens I have seen in the WORLD. It was huge. We spent the better part of two days exploring, and I know we missed parts.
My Bleeding Heart
This is one of my favorite flowers to photograph. They had lots of pots for sale at Whitney Gardens and Nursery in Brinnon. Its WELL worth the trip this time of year.
Garden Rosalyn
Garden Rosalyn is a newer and smaller garden right around the corner from the BIG RoozenGaarde. They do not have any huge fields but all landscaped designs. The flowers were just barely opening when I was here. It would be even prettier in a week. I made this a little painterly–to me, flowers just seem to call for that.
Skagit Valley Tulip Festival
Skagit Valley is just a hop, skip, and a ferry ride away. The flower fields are gorgeous. I was just about a week early for the tulips. But the daffodils shined their happy faces my direction!
