This strange bird only occurs in the Amazon jungle and has no close relatives. Indeed, its heritage is a constant subject of debate among ornithologists.
It has big broad shoulders/ big wings yet can barely fly–just fly jumping from tree to tree. It’s nicknamed the stinky turkey because of it really bad odor caused from decaying food.
The Flightless Cormorant only found in the Galapagos. Uses its wings to swim thru the water to catch fish.
The Galapagos Penguin–the most northern found penguin in the world.
When I came up for air next to this wall, I found two Blue Footed Boobies clinging to the edge.
This Kingfisher had quite the grip on this lil branch to stay in the windstorm.
