Where’s ducky?

Can you find the duck? She’s resting on her own private island at Bloedel Reserve.

Hooded Merganzer

This was taken at Bloedel Reserve on Bainbridge Island. I was too late in the year to get the chicks.

Faraway Friday-Amazon

This male Howler monkey was NOT happy that our canoe stopped near his troop. He kept hollering and when we did not move he climbed out on a branch over our boat and pooped. Needless to say that got us moving!

Sequim 4th of July Celebration

Sequim hosts a great 4th of July fireworks display at Carrie Blake Park each year. There are bands that play in the amphitheater all afternoon, with food trucks at the park, followed by fireworks. (This was from last years celebration)

Wildlife Wednesday-Pelicans

At the beach at Otter Rock on the Oregon Coast. I’ve NEVER seen so many Pelicans in one place. There were several hundred.
