My Pigmy Friend

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

This pigmy goat always runs to the fence on my bikerides in sequim. I’m afraid he’s going to get his head stuck in the fencing. He loves a good head scratch. My friend told me their eyes are set so wide so they can see predators more quickly.

This American Wigeon was the only one in this pond FULL of Mallards at Carrie Blake Park. He was sooooo pretty in the sun.

Rowing Anyone?

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

These ladies were putting up their scull after a good row in the sunshine today. We have a lot of roweres on the bay since it is protected and usually the wind doesn’t start until 10am or later.

Want to sleep in a railcar tonight?

A huge railway used to run next to the bay for logging in the early 1900’s. It has become al ot of the Olympic Discovery trails. But you will find train cars used for all sorts of things in the area, including this B&B in Downtown Sequim
