Flipper Drive In

I found this old sign months ago at the Sequim Museum and Arts Center.

I showed you the old Flippers restaurant here in 2017. It’s been closed for years now.

It’s hard to read the prices on the menu above but these days you’re not likely to find a four piece chicken dinner with salad, egg roll, and JoJo potatoes for $1.75. Nor a piece of pie a la mode for $.45.

  1. Hello,

The meals prices are cheap, that must be a really old sign. The name Flipper makes me think of a dolphin. Take care, enjoy your day! Wishing you a happy weekend!

  2. Those were the days! You made me think of back when I was in high school and the very first MacDonald’s came to town. The burger was 15 cents and fries were 10 cents. And we kids thought they were so good. Well okay, the fries are still pretty good.

  3. I remember going to America and not knowing what Food To Go was. Took me a while to figure it out because we call it Take Away.
