This is a view from the bluff area of Dungeness Recreation Area, looking just east of Vancouver Island, British Columbia.
The pandemic has halted travel into Canada until at least July 21st. As Covid cases continue to break records in the U.S. it’s not likely that our northern border will reopen anytime soon.
We have had a new internal state border set up this week because the virus is getting away in Victoria.

The border will be closed until the USA gets the virus under control. Even Donald is now wearing a face mask.
I’m hoping we keep the border closed for the rest of the summer at least.
Beautiful view! I keep thinking about all the places that did the right thing through this crisis and are now getting back to normal and here we sit getting worse while our supposed leader continues to tell people all is well. All while he hands out pardons to despicable characters. If this was the script for a TV show, it would be rejected as totally unbelievable.
