This is “Blue Mountain”. If you Google Blue Mountain in Sequim, you will find lots of information about businesses who have adopted the name, the B lue Mountain Transfer Station and a cemetery from the 1800′s…but nothing about the mountain. As I was leaving the other evening, the sky was putting on quite a show and it was easy to see why it was given the name.

August Theme Day…Typical Breakfast

Today is Theme Day and you are invited to see how the world starts it’s day. I went out to eat breakfast twice and each time forgot to take a picture of what it suppose to look like before someone started eating. You are looking at a “Senior or Kids Breakfast”…the egg was over easy…one piece of bacon, and the pancakes have been buttered. The mug is full of a good breakfast tea. Yum, yum!

Theme Day….Men at Work

Work comes in all shapes and sizes. “Mr. Bob”, the distinguished white haired gentleman on the right, comes to my classroom twice a week to assist my ESL and GED students. Although he has retired from his previous career, Mr. Bob is, as my daddy used to say, “paying for the air he is breathing”, by volunteering his time to help others learn. He is greatly appreciated.
