This month’s City Daily Photo Theme Day is “Animals.” These big boys were chowing down not far from Home Depot.
This fellow was in the next field. Consider this an example of “Things I Never Thought About Animals Doing.” That is, how does a bull lie down? Judging by the expression on his face, in this case it didn’t feel graceful.
But all’s well that ends well. In all the photos after this one our boy’s eyes were closed and he looked quite serene.
Happy New Year! Today’s City Photo Theme Day topic is “Photo of the Year 2011.” Because the Sequim Daily Photo has had two bloggers this year, Shannon and me (Kay), you get two favorite photos from 2011.
The top one is mine, a moonrise over Dungeness Bay. It captured for me the mood and colors of a perfect summer evening.
Shannon let me choose which of hers was my favorite in 2011. This one immediately came to mind. I rocked back in my chair with an “Oh, wow!” when it came up on my screen the first time. I still think it’s stunning.
I think that together Shannon and my photos capture some of the beauty that I love so much in Sequim. I hope you enjoy them.
City Daily Photo’s Theme Day today is “Action shot.” This barrel racing photo was taken at the Rodeo at Clallam County Fair in August. I loved this competition and the beautiful teamwork of horse and rider. If you’d like to see other action shots from this event, click here. Other events included bareback riding and bull riding.
It’s time again for the City Daily Photo. This month’s theme is fences. This one has cheerfully welcomed Autumn across the street from a local elementary school.

Today’s City Daily Photo Theme Day is “Perspective.” This is one of my favorite views in the Dungeness Recreation Area.
Today is theme day on City Daily Photo and the theme is the color green. Local commenter Pat told me about this field that was baling hay so I went to check it out. It had started raining and he was almost finished up, had a few more bales to go.
Today is theme day for City Daily Photo and it is also the one year mark of me posting pictures to this site. My goal in the back of my mind when I started was one year…so mission accomplished. Special thanks to those who visit, especially those who leave comments and let me know you are out there. Without that, I’d probably have lost motivation.
